Monique is a 1992 graduate of Stetson University earning a bachelors degree in Business Administration with a Major in Marketing and a Minor in Psychology. In 1996 she created a Permit Expediting Company called Expediting Unlimited, Inc. that specializes in working as a liaison between Architects, Engineers, Developers, Contractors and Sub-Contractors and the local municipalities in the Development, Zoning and Permitting Departments to in an effort to streamline and accelerate the process and timeframe for the issuance of building permits and variances.
She began her Real Estate career in 2005 as an enhancement to the Expediting company in an effort to facilitate developers and business owners from Site Selection through the Certificate of Occupancy stages. Since 2005, she has worked strictly as an agent selling commercial property Daytona Beach, FL. In 2011 she earned the prestigious and coveted designation of CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member).
A CCIM is a recognized expert in the commercial and investment real estate industry and is part of a global commercial real estate network with members across North America and more than 30 countries.
The CCIM lapel pin is earned after successfully completing a designation process that ensures CCIM’s are proficient not only in theory but also in practice. CCIM’s have completed a designation curriculum that covers essential CCIM skill sets including ethics, interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, and investment analysis for commercial investment real estate. CCIM’s have completed a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience. Finally, they have demonstrated their proficiency in the CCIM skill sets by successfully completing a comprehensive examination. Only then is a designation candidate awarded the coveted CCIM pin.
